So i need a kick-ass gift to get for my girl friend on valentines day. i already got her VIP tickets to star scape.. but i wanna get her something else to. and because i'm like most guys.. i have no clue at all.. any suggestions? i was kinda thinking a HUGE bouquet of roses or something like that but i really don't know..and price isn't really an issue.. thanks!!! :D
Do something creative. She'll likely appreciate creativity more than something cliched. Although she is a woman...
ReplyDeletei think im gonna make an awesome pop up card or something..tht would be really neato and she'd prolly love it..thanks :D
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to get her roses, DO IT NOW, reserve roses @ a decent florist. Don't expect them to last, though -- florists use weird tricks to preserve roses for Valentine's Day, hopefully you know a reputable florist who's not going to sell you a bouquet for $40+ and then your GF has it die and fall apart one day later!!!
ReplyDeleteIm not really good with aything love-elated, but I think the roses idea is good
ReplyDeleteSo, its the first year of me and my wife's marriage and I'm gonna act like Valentine's Day is a made up holiday and I've never heard of it.

what kind of newspaper comics does she like? If she likes Calvin and Hobbes, you could get her a book collection at Barnes or something. Everyone loves Calvin and Hobbes.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting;)
ReplyDeleteGive her chocolate.
ReplyDeleteA huge teddy bear, with flowers and helium filled ballons in the shape of a heart.
ReplyDeleteThat's what my gf enjoys, however she behaves like a little girl, so I don't know what mature people would like.
Silver jewelry is always relevant. No only it is really pretty, but it's a symbol of purity. It hurts vampires and werewolves, keeps the EVIL at bay, and is pretty much awesome.
ReplyDeleteSo: a silver pendant or a bracelet, nuff said
Try and get her something she will use alot. That way its useful and she will remember you whenever she uses it.

ReplyDeleteOrder a big bouquet of flowers to deliver her to home or work/school whatever :)
ReplyDeleteflowers, chocolate, dinner always put the finishing touch on Vpday
ReplyDeletejust get her something small, but thoughtful. A small, cheap plastic heart with some chocolates in it should do
ReplyDeleteim sure theres something useful in all these comments! haha
ReplyDeleteI'll be taking my Girlfriend to the Elephant Bar (it's a ritzy high-key restaurant. I hope she'll enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteJust surprise her somehow, they always love that.
ReplyDeleteJust because its valentines day doesn't mean you have to do something special, that should be everyday.

Flowers are good but you need something more creative. A card with some nice writing in it has enough of a cute edge to reduce the thought you need to put into other things...
ReplyDeleteJEWELERY. Just not a ring, she might get the wrong idea.
ReplyDeleteA bouquet of her favorite flower (or just roses) sounds good enough. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletewhat about something inexpensive but with alot of sentimental value :)
ReplyDeletegood luck!
she will appreciate it more if you make something for her, she will like it more if she knows you spent time on it
ReplyDeletetheres this guy on youtube with a really good video about it (icecube or something) too lazy to look it up right now
just lick it.
ReplyDeleteget her butt implants.
ReplyDeleteim glad me and my gf dont celebrate v day
